About Us

Our Mission

We exist to exalt Jesus to our city.

"Exalt" in Hebrew means "to lift up" or "to lift high." In Exodus 15:2, the phrase "I will exalt him" shows praise and reverence for God, valuing him and placing him in the rightful seat of worship.
At Timber Creek, we exalt Jesus as God in the flesh and the one true Son of God. We worship him as our King and honor him as Lord in both word and deed. As disciples, we learn and obey Jesus's teachings by the power of the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:16–20).
Our city is Norman, but we use "city" to refer to the communities where we live. We spread the message of Jesus by becoming obedient disciples, making disciples in our sphere of influence, serving our neighbors, and sharing the gospel of Christ through evangelism.
